Photometric Mapping
Historically lighting ski slopes has been confusing. Lumens, lux, candela, kelvin, slope angles, tree lines, mounting heights—so many variables affect on snow performance.
Photometric mapping cuts through the noise. We can show you exactly how your Snowlux investment will perform, before a single fixture goes up. Snowlux makes photometric mapping accessible to every ski resort at no cost!
Okay, so how does this work?!
Pin your lights – Your crew drops pins in Google Earth for every location where you’d like to replace or add a fixture.
Send us the file – Export the
.KML
file and email it to sales@snowluxlighting.com.We do the mapping – Within two weeks, you’ll receive a detailed photometric map showing exactly how Snowlux lighting will upgrade night skiing at your resort.
Refine until perfect – Review the map with your team. If you notice dark spots or overly bright areas that you want to improve, we’ll adjust and refine the design with you until you’re stoked!
